and MediaTek Inc. It conforms to the 96boards specification, with an incredibly powerful 10-core heterogeneous processor,
Mali-T880 series GPU and industry leading multimedia capabilities.
MediaTek X20 deca-core processor
MediaTek X20 is the world’s first smart phone processor with tri-cluster architecture with deca-core. The 10 cores consist of a unique heterogeneous system of an ARM Cortex-A72 ultra-high performance cluster operating up to 2.3GHz,an ARM Cortex-A53 balanced performance cluster up to 1.85GHz and an ARM Cortex-A53 low-energy cluster up to 1.4GHz. Overall performance is improved by up to 15%, with up to 35% less power consumption.
ARM Mali-T880 Graphics Processing Units
Featuring the highest performance series Mali graphics engine, the T880-series, it supports up to WQXGA 2560X1600 60FPS displays with the latest graphics and compute APIs such as OpenGL ES 3.1 and OpenCL 1.2. 4K UltraHD video recording and H.265,VP9 and H.264 hardware video encoding/decoding are supported. With a dual-ISP, it supports camera modules of up to 32 MP.

2GB Dual Channel LPDDR3 with 8GB eMMC storage
The MediaTek X20 Development Board includes 2GB LPDDR3 plus 8GB eMMC storage with expandable storage via Micro SD card slot (SD3.0)
Dual-band AC Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS.
The platform includes 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi with 2.4GHz/5GHz dual-band option, as well as Bluetooth 4.1, making wireless connectivity fast, flexible and convenient. GPS is also included as an additional tool for mobile-aware projects.
External Expansion interfaces
A wide variety of expansion ports are included, such as a 60-pin high-speed (4L-MIPI DSI, I2C x2, USB 2L+4LMIPI CSI), 40-pin low-speed (UART, I2C x2, SPI, GPIO x12), analogue (One 16-pin supporting headset, speaker, FM antenna) and USB (2 x USB 2.0 (host mode only) and USB 2.0 micro B (device mode only)) to support highly diverse project needs and debugging
